On June 5, for some of us... the world will come screeching to a halt as the much anticipated "Sex and the City" movie hits screens...
I have managed to dish up a bit of goss on this impending cult-like flick...
I have a fabulous source in NYC that I will refer to only as "S", who has given me some very juicy tidbits...
Got anything to add, this is the place to do it!!!!!
*Released in OZ June 5th
*Running time 135 blissful minutes
*SJP has 80 costume changes in the movie.
*There are over 300 costumes for the whole cast, certain pieces were yanked off the runways of Milan and Paris just to be included in the movie and then shipped back for the runways showing in Europe.
*According to reports one of SJP's outfits was being shot for a Vogue editorial in the jungles of Brazil, but was also needed for a re-shoot, so an intern was dispatched to fly to Brazil to pick up the dress only to fly in back to return it to the shoot a few hours later!
*A returning charter will be killed off in the end or will they, there has been discussion that Carrie will go through a major loss that will change her?
*Does Carrie get married or is it a dream?
*Is it BIG, that she finally ties the knot with or does he die?
*The movie is so top secret that is was recently shown to an audience but Michael Patrick King is re-editing the film so no one know how the movie will begin s or ends.
*There were LOTS of dream sequences filmed so do be fooled by the trailers being released.
*There WILL be a sequel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait for the movie. I only just really got into the show as it finished (as I seem to do with most shows!) so have been catching up on the box sets. Strange we got the premier over here but no complaints from us lot, lol.x

Omg, amazing movie!! I saw it yesterday. It's like 50 times better than I imagined. I'm not giving out any storyline tips though :p

Hey Kazzie - You lucky little shhh... I wish I could see it. Hey can you please email me some spoilers I have a week off work and knowing my luck I wont get to see it while it's at the movies I'll have to wait till it's on dvd... :( The only time I go to the movies is to see some kids movies and I doubt I can take a 6yr old and two 4yr olds to see sex and the city - I really don't think I would want to take them. lol Anyway I wont details... I only recently got into the show so it doesn't seem like such a long wait for me. I just hope it lives up to all the hype.

I liked it. I thought it stood well on it's own apart from the tv show too. The ending was good, I particularly liked Samantha's, wasn't what I thought it would be whereas the others were a little predictable. I didn't see the last 20 mins properly because I was too busy crying, lol, it made me miss my ex for some reason. Going to see it again soon I hope though. My advice to all girls is go see it, even if you didn't watch the tv show! x

Ok all you S&C fans get out your stones and pitch forks your all going to hat me. I saw it with my bestie the other day and I was highly disappointed I only just became a fan of the show a few months ago and I personally found it to be a bit of a let down. Maybe it's because I am not quit age appropriate to be seeing it but I found the storyline to be to just drag on. I know most girls seeing this would be loving the ending but as for me I hated it. How could Carrie let big win!!! So what if it was his 3rd wedding it was her first I think he controls way to much of their relationship. Carrie was such a strong individual and the ending showed her to give in and do what her man wanted. They tried to show him as Mr. nice guy but I still don't like him once a jerk always a jerk! The miranda and steve thing annoyed and upset me and the smith and samantha thing at the end just upset me. I know all I have been doing is bitching and I am sorry about that I just had set my expectations so high because I am such a fan, That I felt I got let down. I didn't think the movie was all bad I loved the charlotte story line, the strong friendship they still had with each other and the fashion how could you not love that. I would still give it a 6 or 7 out of 10 but would I go out and buy it and watch it over and over again I don't think so but I would watch it when it comes on tv. Sorry to say what I really thought, but I know you all will forgive me Love Mia x

Omg Mia why don't you tell us how you really feel omg... The movie was the best any s&c fan would think so now it's on dvd I'm so going to buy it and make you watch it again!
